Lincoln Corsair

Lincoln Corsair

Summary

Although based on the Ford Escape, the Corsair has impressed reviewers so much that many have called it the “baby Navigator.” With excellent interior materials, ride quality, and noise isolation, the Corsair is well-deserving of its place in the luxury segment. It features a much more plush ride than its German competitors, and its only real flaw is that the switches are fairly cheap feeling for a luxury vehicle.

The Corsair is only available as a hybrid in the “Grand Touring” trim level, which comes in at the top of the range. However, as a PHEV, it is eligible for federal and state tax credits to help alleviate some of the sticker shock, and used models are plentiful (and still qualify for a federal tax credit of $4000 if you can find one under $25k).
